For this assignment, I chose to draw Foust Park. There were lots of people gathered enjoying the weather sitting under a tree or reading. The bright green colors of spring pop out at you when you walk down the stairs to the park which is what I wanted to capture in this watercolor painting. The scale figures really help to give a perspective of how large the area is. The area is surrounded by greenery which spoke to me hinting that summer is just around the corner.
